Charros-Cats Game Suspended In 5th Inning Due To Rain

Ozzie Canseco Brownsville CharrosTonight’s game between the Charros and Cats was suspended in the top of the 5th inning with two out and a score Brownsville 6, Fort Worth 1.  The game will resume tomorrow at 4:05 pm CT.

According to United League Baseball and Fort Worth Cats officials, here are the changes for tomorrow:

  • Today’s game will resume at 4:05 pm
  • The resumed game will go the complete 9 innings (plus any extra innings)
  • A 20 minute break will happen between games
  • The regularly-scheduled game will be a seven-inning game

Here is the update from the league office.

During tonight’s action, Dan Coury hit the first grand slam of the 2014 United League Baseball season.  It took the Charros from a 2-1 lead to the current 6-1 score.

If you attended the game in Fort Worth tonight then you are welcome to talk with the Cats’ front office regarding your tickets.  It was announced that you can attend any future regular season Cats game, with the exception of the July 3 and July 4 games.
