Charros Lose 2nd Straight To WhiteWings In Bottom Of 9th

The Rio Grande Valley WhiteWings defeated the Brownsville Charros today in a wild finish by a score of 11-10.  The game started at 10:05 am because it was Kids Day where students in the Harlingen area were invited to the stadium.

Here is the box score, with an inning by inning breakdown, of today’s action:

Taylor Terrasas for the WhiteWings scored from third base on a fielder’s choice/putout play to give the victory to Rio Grand Valley, with the putout being the second out of the bottom of the 9th.  The loss drops the Charros to a 3-5 record on the season and the WhiteWings go to 4-2 on the season.
